Happy Holidays From FSA Wealth Management!
As we turn the page on 2022, we remind ourselves at FSA Wealth Management how truly blessed we are. It has been a year of challenges, but also one of opportunities, and we are thankful for each. We have the privilege of working with wonderful clients and helping to make a real difference in their financial lives. We strive to find opportunities, even in challenging markets, and seek to add value with our financial planning expertise and investment activities. We sincerely thank you for the trust you place in us each and every day.
Reflecting on 2022 and Looking Ahead
The headlines throughout the year have helped remind us that the economic and financial market environment has been challenging. It has been one of the worst bond markets in history and a stock market that seemed fixated on the negative news. The bad news has been prevalent throughout the year, with a backdrop of heightened inflation, fears related to a housing slowdown, and possibly even an impending recession. We continued throughout the year with a heightened focus; concentrating on financial planning and seeking opportunities to reposition portfolios for tax and investment benefits.
We look ahead into 2023 with the potential for further easing of inflation data and a changing stance at the Federal Reserve to one of neutrality or, potentially, even monetary easing—both of which will present positive changes for the market. As such, we are cautiously optimistic for 2023 and beyond.
Updates for FSA Wealth Management
We are keenly aware that the competitive environment for financial advice is always evolving and that we need to stay at the forefront of this evolution. As some may have noticed, we have recently updated our website, fsawm.com, and also increased our proactive communications through efforts such as our new blog. We are constantly reviewing our technology solutions and may have potential changes during 2023—please stay tuned. Lastly, we will be sending out more details of the TD Ameritrade/Schwab merger that we announced back in 2020, which is now slated for the latter half of 2023.
We look forward to meeting with each of you in the new year to revisit your financial plan, and we will continue to explore opportunities to help achieve your goals. In addition to scheduled review meetings, we are always readily available for phone calls, email, or Zoom, whichever you prefer, so please don’t hesitate to reach out at any time.
Our Thanks to You
We stress again that it is a privilege to work with such amazing clients. You are instrumental for our continued growth through your generous referrals; a responsibility we take very seriously. We are proud to engage in the community through our giving back and have made a donation on behalf of the FSA community to The Pine Street Inn and Rosie’s Place for this holiday season. We are always honored to be included in your charitable intentions, and if there are organizations or causes you feel could be a part of our giving back, please let us know.
One Final Appeal
We hope that you have a wonderful holiday season with family and friends and wish you the best for a happy and healthy 2023. There is much turmoil in the world, and may I make an appeal that we all do our part to help, in whatever ways we can, toward peace and prosperity for all.
With warm regards and gratitude,
Simon & the entire FSA Team
